Review: Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner

After spending a long time relaxing under the hot shower water, I feel really lazy when I get out. As much as it should be, applying lotion is not high up on my to do list. The idea of a lotion that can be applied and rinsed off in the shower is very appealing to me. It isn't completely hassle free as it does add an extra couple minutes to your shower routine. I recommend turning off the shower, applying, and waiting just a minute to turn the shower back on to rinse.

It leaves the skin feeling like you just applied a body butter, and it has a really great rose scent that lingers. I really love that it moisturizes without leaving that sticky lotion feeling. Also, if I used this at night, I could still smell it on my sheets and skin in the morning.

The only downside to this product is the price at $32.95 for 8.4 oz. It took me a long time to bring myself to buy this because it seems like a pretty steep price for what you get, and I still feel that way. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but I have only gotten five uses out of it before hitting the bottom of the container. As you can see, I have one small use left. If you have the money to spend, I'd absolutely say this product is worth the hype.

I recently picked up the Nivea In Shower Body Lotion for only $6. I really want to see how comparable the two products are because this one was pretty life changing. I'll make sure to let you guys know how it is!

Empties #1

Batiste Dry Shampoo
This is my favorite dry shampoo.

Caress Evenly Gorgeous Burnt Brown Sugar & Karite Butter Body Wash
The scent of this body wash is to die for! It was a great fall/winter warm scented body wash.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir
I think I am one of those people who didn't particularly like this product because I wasn't entirely sure how to use it. I was using it over top makeup, and I didn't see it make much of a difference. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the smell. However, I'm excited to try it again while I am in France to use as a toner.

It's A 10 Miracle Leave-In Product
This is a really great leave-in conditioner. However, now that I have cut my hair to a short bob and it is already naturally oily, I probably won't repurchase until my hair is longer. It would be more difficult to concentrate on the ends and would only speed up the oiliness on the scalp.

Jane Cosmetics Water-Resistant Eyeliner in Midnight Blue
Navy is my favorite eyeliner color for an everyday look because it accentuates green eyes well. I really liked this one, obviously, since it is pretty hard to use up an eyeliner, but I have a few others that are just as good.

Mario Badescu Seaweed Cleansing Soap
This is a really great gentle face wash. It exfoliates the tiniest bit, but I think it is still okay to use morning and night everyday. Seaweed has a lot of great benefits for the skin, especially for fighting acne.

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Night Moisturizer
Although I am only 21 years old and this is an anti-wrinkle moisturizer, it has retinol in it, which is great for clearing up and preventing acne as well. I only use this product at night, and because of the winter weather, I have had to apply an extra moisturizer over top. However, during the warmer months, I can get away with this being my only night time moisturizer because I have pretty oily skin.

Sexy Hair Healthy Hair Soy Touchable Weightless Hairspray
This is a great non-hardening hairspray that still holds well. Definitely one of my favorites.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara Mini
Not too sure I agree with the claim of being better than sex, but it's definitely a great mascara.

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Hawaiian Kukui
Whenever I have this product, I can't help but open it just to give it a sniff. This scent smells SOOO good! Oh, and it does a good job at it's actual purpose of being a body scrub too.

Me Time #1

I previously mentioned my slight obsession with the Stress Relief line from Bath and Body Works. It probably seems like I'm an extremely stressed person considering how many products I own from the line, but I really just enjoy the scent.

Anyway, everyone deserves a little relaxation time after all the holiday excitement. So I lit this candle, propped my laptop on the toilet, and watched a couple episodes of Criminal Minds while relaxing in the tub.

I've really been liking bath oils recently. They make your bath extremely fragrant and moisturizing. I obviously like this Stress Relief one from Bath and Body Works. This relaxation session required a little work, however, because I need to shave my legs. I like to deep exfoliate before shaving, and this scrub is my favorite. It exfoliates really well while having some type of oil in it that leaves the skin moisturized. Bath/shower oils are great replacements for shaving cream too. They help get a really close shave while leaving the skin moisturized. It may seem a little gimmicky, but I really like this Venus Embrace To Go Razor. The container is convenient for traveling. Lastly, before getting out of the bath tub is a great time to pumice your feet. They'll be the softest after being in hot water for a long time. I really like this Mr. Pumice Pumi Bar. (Sorry mine is kinda gross) You can find them at Sally's Beauty Supply for a few bucks.
